When working with DeFi instruments, I often need to transfer assets between networks.
This is because the yield on certain instruments in different networks always changes.
And sometimes certain instruments are only available on a specific network.
As a result, there is a need to transfer stablecoins and other assets between different networks.
Personally, I constantly use bridges to maximize my capital.
- The main bridge I use most often is Stargate Finance (https://stargate.finance/)
I use it to transfer stablecoins and ETH between most EVM networks, as well as to transfer BTC.B between Arbitrum and Avalanche.
Low fees and fast transactions. Moreover, this is the flagship project from LayerZero.
- The next bridge is Celer Bridge (https://cbridge.celer.network/)
On Stargate Finance, there is no option to transfer WETH from Avalanche to other EVM networks.
For this, I use celerbridge. This is the only direction that interests me here.
- Portal Bridge (https://portalbridge.com/)
I use it to transfer large sums of USDC, as there is a fixed fee here that does not depend on the transfer amount.
And also for transferring stablecoins to other networks, for example SUI, Aptos, Solana.
Be careful, as tokens received through the bridge do not always have liquidity on the final network.
You can see the current directions here. (https://portalbridge.com/docs/faqs/liquid-markets)
- The last bridge is Orbiter Finance (https://www.orbiter.finance/)
I use it to transfer ETH and stablecoins between most L2 networks. For example, from Base to Scroll, from ZkSync to Arbitrum.
Stargate Finance does not always have the directions I need. That is why my bridge pool is not limited to it alone.
These bridges cover 99% of all directions that are needed for efficient work in DeFi for me.
I rely on my experience and the directions that interest me. There are other bridges that I can use from time to time. But these 4 are more than enough for me.
