Entangle Protocol Secures $4M Funding Round with Participation from Big Brain Holdings, Launch Code Capital, Istari Vision
The project is developing a three-layer blockchain:
- Application Layer
- Modules Layer
- Tendermint Core Layer
Finalization takes less than three seconds, and EVM compatibility is achieved by using the Ethermint library, facilitating the deployment of smart contracts written in Solidity.
The project also employs a hybrid Proof of Stake model, as the transmitter agents ensuring EVM compatibility also use the PoS model.
The modular level includes:
- IBC module facilitates communication with Cosmos-based blockchains.
- EVM module hosts smart contracts deployed on the Entangle blockchain, providing compatibility with EVM infrastructure like Metamask, Hardhat, and Truffle.
- DPoS is responsible for staking for validators and delegators.
Requirements for validator nodes are outlined in the project’s Gitbook:
Entangle supports a wide range of Web3 applications, including the popular RWA narrative, Metaverse, NFTs, DeFi, SocialFi, games, BRC-20, and more.
Entangle has integrated 35 dapps and connected to 10 blockchains.
Key use cases include:
- Enhancing capital efficiency through liquid vaults, allowing users to mint LSD tokens by staking LP, borrow assets against them, and generate additional yield.
- Photon Messaging Protocol – a customizable inter-network communication layer in any EVM and non-EVM networks.
- Customizable Oracle solution for accessing and authenticating off-chain data from any source.
- Custom price feeds (oracles) – a customizable, secure, distributed, and verifiable source of price data for assets.
Entangle plans to launch its Token Generation Event (TGE) in February, intending to examine the tokenomics and project valuation in the market at the time of the TGE.
